Effective Approaches to Managing Change: Getting People on Board!
In this practical, interactive workshop, John will lead a discussion of the process and difficulties encountered in introducing change into an organization. The impact of changes on the people affected can produce tremendous benefits to the organization, its customers and even its employees, but only if and when people are “on board.” What appear to be natural, straightforward and logical changes often fail or drag an organization down because the people involved aren’t engaged.
John will discuss the four stages of transformation, including the work involved in making the changes and in managing and sustaining them. We will seek participant experiences, including successes and failures, and see what we can learn from the discussion to apply the next time changes are introduced.
