Lisa Martin, C.P.M.

Lisa
Martin, C.P.M., is senior vice president, worldwide procurement at Pfizer Inc.
While leading her team, Martin works with pertinent business leaders to refine
the Pfizer Procurement strategy in order to create an organization which
effectively leverages Pfizer systems and purchasing power. Pfizer is a
research-based, global pharmaceutical company that discovers, develops,
manufactures and markets leading prescription medicines for humans and animals,
as well as many of the world's best-known consumer brands. With the Pharmacia
merger, Pfizer's revenue for 2003 was more than $45 billion. Pfizer was named
the world’s most admired pharmaceutical company by Fortune and the world's most
generous company by the The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
From October 1997 until June 2000, Martin was with the Warner-Lambert Co. in the
capacity of vice president, global sourcing. Warner-Lambert's companywide
productivity programs historically contributed savings of $50 million annually
on a total spend base of approximately $6 billion. Martin's career includes
management positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Columbia Pictures
Entertainment and NBC. Most recently, Martin served as the senior procurement
officer for Pfizer Inc.
Martin currently serves on The Conference Board Supply Chain and Procurement
Executive Council, the National Minority Supplier Development Council Board,
Rutgers University's Supply Chain Management Advisory Board, Manufacturers
Alliance/MAPI and the Corporate Executive Board Procurement Council. She was one
of the youngest procurement professionals ever to serve as president of the
Purchasing Management Association, Los Angeles and has been active in Institute
for Supply Management™ (ISM) for many years.
